Enggagement is a time to be shared??

Enggagement is a time to be shared??

The traditional view is that whenever there's wedding, birth, enggagement etc, these occasions should be shared with immediate family members and friends.

2day my associate got enggaged. Why I called him an associate and not a friend? Well, i used to consider him as a close and dear friend but eventually I realised he had been using me for his own personal gains. Those sweet talks and all his concerns are all BULL SHIT....

2day is his enggagement. Supposedly I should rejoice with him in this happy occassion. ( I am just a normal weak human being, easily forget everybody ill doings.)
He had invited me to follow him all the way to Perak on the pretext that I am his close friends. After snooping around, I found out his real intention, to ferry his friends and brothers. Tooooooot.. where the sincere intention of asking me to join in the celebration?? Thus, I asked for support for milleage, and he has the nerve to ask me to do it for free even though I have helped him in his many financial woes and when I declined, he made it seem like I owed him and thus have to help him.....

What's made me blew up would be that he brought his frens to his enggagement party in Perak and not his brother who financed his education loan (which he didn't pay back), the one who helped him a lot. What kind of a brother is that????

Smile, an everlasting smile...

Smile, an everlasting smile, a smile would take your heart away.....

This is certainly lacking in Singapore. Just came from Singapore and during my stay there, I noticed that Singaporeans doesn't like to smile at strangers and they don't return their smile easily. I came to Singapore by train, and at the Custom Entry Point in Woodlands, the officers don't like to smile, to offer a greeting nor to say thank you to the visitors to Singapore. They are like robots. At one time, I smiled and greeted the officer and was met with suspicions........ Maybe I'm a terrorist hiding behind smiling face.....hehehehehe

Then I went to my uncle's place by taxi. At least, the taxi driver warmed up to my smiles. Even the waiters, waitresses, salespersons can't even manage a smile to visitors. I always travelled around by plane and I always enjoyed most of them. Not this trip back from Singapore. I felt like I am under a survelliance while waiting to depart at Changi Airport. I can feel the Singaporeans' tensions surrounding the buildings. I felt like I couldn't wait to get out of here.

Another time I felt like this would be the time I was waiting for my MRT in Singapore. It was 7 something in the morning and I could see the Singaporeans rushing to work with a tensioned face. Never smile, never stop to smell the flowers, always rushing around.

They sure miss a lot of things in life. Why are we rushing? Why can't we smile?????

Getting married....

Just came back from my sister's wedding in Singapore. The bride looked very beautiful, the bride looked hansome. The wedding was done beautifully, they showed their childhood photos, how they've met and fall in luv, how he proposed thru a song...... very romantic. Infact the whole wedding reception is done in a romantic manner. They sang love song to each another, declared love to each another.

One thing that came across my mind, would they live happily ever after? It takes a lot more than romantic love to carry on a couple's marriage. We'll just wait and see.

CONGRATULATIONS to my sister.....................................
